The barricades are going up! Tickets for the national tour of Les Miserables are now on sale for the show’s engagement in Miami. The musical will open on February 26 at the Adrienne Arsht Center and close on March 3.

In this production, celebrating the show’s 25th anniversary, the beloved story of Les Miserables has a refreshed look. The action begins in 1815 as Jean Valjean, a man condemned to 19 years of hard labor for stealing a loaf of bread, finds only hatred and suspicion when he is released on parole and breaks free yearning for a new life. The story is one of love, courage and redemption. This newly imagined production of the classic features new sets by Matt Kinley and costumes by Andreane Neofitou. The sweeping Claude-Michel Schönberg-Alain Boublil score features signature numbers “I Dreamed a Dream,” “Do You Hear the People Sing?” and “On My Own.”

This international hit stars Broadway vets Peter Lockyer as Jean Valjean, Andrew Varela as Javert, Lauren Wiley as Cosette, Max Quinlan as Marius and Betsy Morgan as Fantine.
